Antioch Subscription Fund

Baltimore raised its $6000 annual contribution to the Committee for the Excavation of Antioch-on-the-Orontes through its Antioch Subscription Fund, headed by Robert Garrett. In ARP.3 we’ve begun analyzing these contributors. Three preliminary charts give a sense of the ebb and flow of the Subscription Fund’s contributors, although these do not indicate years in which Garrett and others donated twice to close the gap. Although some contributors gave each year of the subscription fund, many more (19) contributed only once. Contributions ranged from as little as $5 to as much as $3650. More soon, but for the moment…
